An enjoyable and successful Fun Day was held at Brailes on 31st May 2009
Bedlingtons and friends had a great time with racing, fancy dress and an agility display being just a few of the events on the programme. The owners and their families enjoyed it too. Also 8 proud owners, under the watchful eye of Lesley Caines, received the Good Citizen Bronze Award on behalf of their dogs.Fun Day is a great opportunity for all Bedlingtons, whether show, working or just beloved pets and their friends to get together to have lots of fun and for their owners to tell each other that their dogs are the best.On a more serious note Fun Day is also an opportunity to raise funds that are shared between The Bedlington Terrier Health Group and Bedlington Rescue. This year Fun Day raised over £300, and a big thank you goes to all those who helped to organise the day and especially to all those who attended and made all the hard work worthwhile. Even the weather was kind providing us with one of the hottest days of the year. Below, courtesy of Jon Caines, is just a small selection of pictures to give a flavour to those who did not come.
