CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW CLASSIFICATION

1. Minor Puppy Dog

For dogs of six and not exceeding nine calendar months of age on the first day of the Show

11. Minor Puppy Bitch

For bitches of six and not exceeding nine calendar months of age on the first day of the Show

2. Puppy Dog

For dogs of six and not exceeding twelve calendar months of age on the first day of the Show.

12. Puppy Bitch

For bitches of six and not exceeding twelve calendar months of age on the first day of the Show.

3. Junior Dog

For dogs of six and not exceeding eighteen calendar months of age on the first day of the Show

13. Junior Bitch

For bitches of six and not exceeding eighteen calendar months of age on the first day of the Show.

4. Yearling Dog

For dogs of twelve and not exceeding twenty four calendar months of age on the first day of the Show

14. Yearling Bitch

For bitches of twelve and not exceeding twenty four calendar months of age on the first day of the Show

4a. Novice Dog

For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate/CACIB/CAC/Green Star or three or more First Prizes at Open and Championship Shows (Minor Puppy, Special Minor Puppy, Puppy and Special Puppy classes excepted, whether restricted or not).

14a. Novice Bitch

For bitches which have not won a Challenge Certificate/CACIB/CAC/Green Star or three or more First Prizes at Open and Championship Shows (Minor Puppy, Special Minor Puppy, Puppy and Special Puppy classes excepted, whether restricted or not).

4b. Graduate Dog

For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate/CACIB/CAC/Green Star or four or more First Prizes at Championship Shows in Graduate, Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit and Open classes, whether restricted or not where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed.

14b. Graduate Bitch

For bitches which have not won a Challenge Certificate/CACIB/CAC/Green Star or four or more First Prizes at Championship Shows in Graduate, Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit and Open classes, whether restricted or not where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed.

5. Post Graduate Dog

For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate/CACIB/CAC/Green Star or five or more First Prizes at Championship Shows in Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit and Open classes, whether restricted or not where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed.

15. Post Graduate Bitch

For bitches which have not won a Challenge Certificate/CACIB/CAC/Green Star or five or more First Prizes at Championship Shows in Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit and Open classes, whether restricted or not where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed.

6. Limit Dog

For dogs which have not become show Champions under the Kennel Club Regulations or under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club, or won 3 or more CC/CACIB/CAC/Green Stars or won 7 or more First Prizes in all at Championship Shows in Limit or Open Classes confined to the Breed, whether restricted or not at Shows where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed

16. Limit Bitch

For bitches which have not become show Champions under the Kennel Club Regulations or under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club, or won 3 or more CC/CACIB/CAC/Green Stars or won 7 or more First Prizes in all at Championship Shows in Limit or Open Classes confined to the Breed, whether restricted or not at Shows where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed

7. Open Dog

For all dogs of the breeds for which the class is provided and eligible for entry at the Show.

17. Open Bitch

For all bitches of the breeds for which the class is provided and eligible for entry at the Show.

8. Champion Dog

For dogs which have been confirmed a Champion or Show Champion under Kennel Club Regulations or under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club.

18. Champion Bitch

For bitches which have been confirmed a Champion or Show Champion under Kennel Club Regulations or under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club.

9. Veteran Dog

For dogs of not less than seven years of age on the first day of the Show.

19. Veteran Bitch

For bitches of not less than seven years of age on the first day of the Show.

10. Special Beginners Dog

For owner, handler or exhibit not having won a Challenge Certificate or Reserve Challenge Certificate, or for those breeds not allocated Championship Status, Best of Sex or Reserve Best of Sex at a Championship Show.

20. Special Beginners Bitch

NFC. Nor For Competition

Societies may at their discretion, accept Not for Competition entries. Societies may accept such entries from breeds of dog not included within the title of the Society and at Shows held over more than one day, such entries may be accepted on any day from any breed.
